These accessories fall into several different categories, which we'll discuss in more detail below - these can include safety features, camouflage covers (disguises), velcro stickers for placing distinctive patches, or adapters for combining with other tactical equipment.
Safety first and foremost
Although ballistic helmets in themselves already significantly increase the safety of their wearer, the level of safety can always be increased. For example, by extra padding, which is usually tailored to the specific helmet model. The padding not only increases the safety but also the comfort level of the helmet wearer. Camouflage yourself in different environments
A helmet whose surface would adapt like a chameleon to a specific environment hasn't been invented yet, though it's certainly an interesting idea. But when you buy a helmet these days, chances are you're only going to get it in one colour, or one camouflage design.
Ballistic helmets aren't exactly a cheap item, and that's because they have to meet a lot of standards while also having years of research and development behind them. That's why it's more practical to buy one extra helmet cover for every other environment - forest, desert or winter landscape, for example - than to invest in another helmet in a different camouflage. These disguises are often combined with velcro panels, but can also be purchased separately.
Use distinctive patches
You can get separate velcro panels for some models of ballistic helmets from us, in the form of stickers that you stick on in specific places - and they'll stay there. These panels are particularly useful for sticking on distinctive patches or identification labels, whether it's flags, your name, rank or even your blood type. At the same time, they can also serve as a mounting base for a helmet cover that will stick better on them.
Other uses for these Velcro panels include the installation of special patches or morale patches. However, some velcro panels can also handle heavier caliber, such as attaching a tactical flashlight, counterweight holster or battery.
Combine the helmet with other equipment
With additional helmet accessories, you can easily combine your helmet with other tactical equipment such as headphones or a headset. Again, these are usually specialised accessories for either a specific type of helmet or headset (see specific product descriptions).
