Tikka 2022 Headlamp Petzl®

The first Petzl's LED lamp launched more than 20 years ago. That is compact headlamp Tikka 2022. Great choice whether you use it for reading in your tent, getting around the campsite or hiking. It offers 3 lighting levels and wide, uniform beam so you can comfortably see up-close.

Night vision without blinding 

Tikka offers possibility of continuous red lighting to preserve night vision without risk of blinding those around you. In emergency situations, the headlamp uses strobe mode to signal your location.

Perfect features 

Petzl really thought it through. Headlamp has a number of features that will significantly contribute to your comfort. This includes for example phosphorescent reflector for locating the lamp in the dark and LOCK function prevents the lamp from accidental turning on. It also features battery charge indicator which shows the battery level each time lamp is turned on or off.

Hybrid Concept design 

This hybrid headlamp comes with 3 AAA batteries, but it is also compatible with the CORE rechargeable battery (not included). Tikkina automatically detects the energy source and adjusts lighting performance. 

Safe cycling 

Headlamp Tikka Petzl is compatible with the Helmet Adapt a Bike Adapt2 mounts so you can fix it on different types of helmets or a bicycle. Cycling will be therefore reliably illuminated and safe. Please NOTE that this headlamp is not certified for road use : when used in an area governed by traffic regulations, this light is not a substitute for required standardized lights.

Water resistant 

Tikka Petzl headlamp is IPX4 water-resistant. That is why even harsher weather conditions or rain are not an obstacle for your activity.

Detachable headband 

For maximum practicality the headband is easily detachable, washable and easy to adjust which significantly increases users comfort.

User's guide

Measured to ANSI FL 1 standard in laboratory conditions, using mentioned batteries, at a certain temperature and humidity. Values may vary depending on conditions, the way flashlight is used or different brands of batteries.

Brightness - measurement is taken between 30 and 120 seconds after the headlamp is turned on. It indicates the maximum light output, when the lamp is first turned on, using new batteries.

Lighting distance – this is maximum distance between the lamp and the location where only 0.25 lux of illumination remains. The measurement is taken when the lamp is turned on, using new batteries. Lighting distance depends directly on brightness, but mainly on the shape of the beam.

Runtime - this corresponds to the length of time during which lighting is optimal. It is measured 30 seconds after the lamp is turned on and for as long as the lamp takes to drop to 10 % of maximum light output.

Reserve lighting - Petzl® guarantees reserve lighting outside the scope of ANSI FL1. Reserve lighting provides enough light for walking. However, the light may not be sufficient for fast-paced activities (such as running, mountain biking, skiing...).
