It itches and we look like nerds. Forget the old stereotypes and let´s trust new technologies. Yes, we are talking about sweaters. People think of them as unpleasant clothing, which had to be worn, but wasn´t comfortable. These times are over. Nowdays. sweaters are becoming popular again, they are stylish and useful. Sweater is mostly used in cold weather thanks to its warming properties. That is the greatest benefit, in wind and rain it doesn´t work really well.
Good old construction
Sweaters are most often knitted. The fabric from which the sweater is finally made is produced from thick fiber using a knitting machine. The presence of thick fiber, which has excellent warming properties, is a sweater´s main feature. At the sime, however, it is not suitable into the rain. The design has not been changed. Practically they are pullovers. We pull it over the head - that is why pullover. The sweaters with high collar are called turtlenecks. As with the sweatshirts, there are some sweaters with zipper fastening too. It helps with regulation of the temperature.
For army as well as for us
Even the army has noticed the great properties. That is why we have army sweaters. They can offer for example pockets, catchy cut and style and other benefits. They are very good under blouse, jacket or other clothing. Unfortunately they do not offer as much benefits as sweatshirts so they are gradually being replaced. That doesn´t have to bother us. If we want nice sweather for its warming properties, we simply get it.
