Although there is no need to emphasize it, the basis of everything is a correct hygiene habit. But when camping in nature, you can forget about hot water and, of course, a shower. So can basic hygiene be maintained in such conditions? Definitely yes. We will advise you how to do it.
1) Disinfectant soap
The pandemic caused that everyone knows hand disinfection. In drugstores and pharmacies, you can buy small bottles of disinfectant gel that kill up to 99% of all bacteria, fungi and viruses. They are compact and fit into any backpack. You can use this soap before eating or after using the toilet and you will know that your hands are clean and disinfected.
2) Sanitary wipes
We recommend the use of cleansing and exfoliating wipes in nature. They will help you keep your body pleasantly fresh. Don't forget to clean them up. Either burn the wipes or take them with you.
3) Microfiber towel
There are two common problems with a towel. The first problem is easy. It's unwieldiness. A towel just gets in the way in your luggage. And if you manage to fit it into your backpack, then there is another and even more serious problem. It does not dry well after use. Therefore, do not hesitate to buy a microfiber towel. It is light, easy to store and, above all, it dries quickly.
4) Biodegradable soap
Use soap that is biodegradable. Anyway, the fact that it is degradable does not mean that you will use it in a water reservoir. If you don't want intrusive insects to be interested in you, use a soap that is not perfumed.
5) Dry shampoo
Greasy and dirty hair? If you use dry shampoo, then this is not a problem. Hair is cleansed and shine is restored. Again, we recommend a dry shampoo that is not perfumed.
