It all started in 2001 with a simple but powerful idea. Frustrated with heavy vacuum bottles and clunky stoves, Jetboil founders Dwight Aspinwall and Perry Dowst set out to make outdoor cooking easier. They discovered that the key to maximizing convenience and efficiency lay in combining heat transfer technology with innovative design.
Theory and practice
Alternating between lab and mountains, Dwight & Perry evolved their idea into a new product that was a total rethink of mobile cooking, and premiered their new FluxRing® technology and integrated approach. The result was a Personal Cooking System launched in 2004 to instant acclaim from magazines and adventures worldwide.

Number of options
Jetboil offers different types of stoves, from single person ultralight titanium stoves to cooking systems suitable for multiple persons. Jetboil´s flagship is Flash cooking system. It is an excellent cooking system, that combines a burner and a cooking container in one device. The cooking cup clips onto the burner, preventing accidental spills, and the fuel canister tripod ensures overall stability. The whole system is easy to pack and is able to store a 100g Jetpower fuel can, stabilizer and burner.
The system also features drink-through lid with pour spout and strainer and cooking cup with insulating cozy. Last but not least, it includes fuel canister stabilizer and a bottom cup that doubles as a measuring cup and a bowl.

Heat like no other
Jetboil uses FluxRing technology, which utilize greater surface area to radically reduce boiling times and improve fuel efficiency. The efficiency is improved up to 80 % compared to 30 – 40% fuel efficiency of standard stoves/cooking systems. This system saves not only money, but also weight and space. Jetboil is up to twice as efficient as conventional stoves, you can take half as much fuel on your trip, thus saving weight. A Jetpower fuel canister, with 100 grams of fuel, boils as much water with Jetboil as competing stoves do with their big 227 gram canisters.
