AeroTech is a polyester-based material that is lightweight, breathable and quick-drying. It is used in its products, for example, by the Polish manufacturer Helikon-Tex.
It is a technology for wicking away sweat during exercise and physical activity in general. The material features an ergonomic design with holes in the fabric, which it uses for perfect ventilation and cooling properties. In this way, the wearer experiences a prolonged feeling of coolness and dryness, even in more challenging conditions.
At the same time, the AeroTech (or also Aero-Tech) material reduces moisture on the skin surface when sweating, prevents an unpleasant sticky feeling and creates a pleasant microclimate between the skin and the fabric. In addition, the aforementioned holes in the fabric increase the level of comfort when wearing, as they help to reduce the weight of the fabric.
AeroTech is one of the materials developed by Taiwanese company De Licacy, whose history dates back to 1982. De Licacy's materials are aimed at active athletes who require the highest level of comfort when moving.
