FireSLEEVE™ Exotac® - with lighter

Waterproof sleeve Exotac fireSLEEVE holds one BIC classic lighter and creates a waterproof barrier around the lighter. It seals off from the moisture intrusion so you don´t have to worry about lighting a fire even in wet conditions.

Gas-lock strap 

The fireSLEEVE features gas-lock strap molded into the lighter body that allows the gas button to be held down for hands-free use. The flexible body create a strap that holds down the red button. This keeps the lighter on until you slide the strap off with your thumb. Ideal solution when reaching into tight spots. 

Waterproof 

This plastic sleeve will float and is waterproof to at least 90 cm. The flexible body features two separate lashing points for cordage and the surface provides firm and secure grip even when it becomes wet.  

Replaceable lighter 

The fireSLEEVE will hold one BIC Classic lighter that is available at any convenience store all over the world (included in this pack). As soon as the old one runs out, simply pull it out and slide in the new one. If there is a problem with either pulling out or sliding in, a small dab of silicon grease can be used.

Safety cap 

The cap not only keeps moisture out but it also protects the red gas button from becoming accidentally pressed in your backpack or pocket. When the lighter is in use, the cap can be stored on the bottom of the fireSLEEVE body to make sure you don´t lose it. 

Made in the USA

Exotac products are developed and made in house (in the USA) from start to finish. Specifically, the body of fireSLEEVE is molded from flexible TPE (material similar to silicon). The TPE body is flexible and acts as a gasket around the circumference of the BIC lighter sealing it off from moisture intrusion. The cap is molded from a super-tough glass-filled nylon.
